Welcome to the 2026 Dallas Mineral Collecting Symposium.
We’re excited to host a small, intimate group here in Dallas August 21-23, 2026!
While we would love to host everyone, invitations to the in-person Dallas Mineral Collecting Symposium are sent on an invite-only basis post-COVID pandemic in order to keep a controlled limit on event size and ensure seating capacity restrictions are met. Invitations will be issued in the Spring of 2026 and tickets may be purchased at that time.
As of 2025, we have decided to forgo the livestream ticketing option for the Dallas Mineral Collecting Symposium. In place of the livestream, we intend to make each presentation available online (free of charge) shortly after the conclusion of the symposium. Those not receiving an invitation are welcome to view all presentations in our Video Library (please allow time for us to process the videos). Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
Additionally, our annual benefit auction will be hosted on MineralAuctions.com, with dozens of minerals, mineralia, and field collecting trips up for auction. Proceeds benefit The Mineralogical Record, Rocks & Minerals, mindat.org, and the TGMS Exhibits Fund. If you haven’t yet, please create your account early to ensure your account is active.
The 2026 DMCS Benefit Auction will go live at least a week before the symposium and will end at 6PM CDT on August 22, 2026.
If you received an invitation and have questions or problems with purchasing tickets, please reach out to info@dallassymposium.org.
Details for recommended accommodations can be found here.
NOTE: The link for the official (discounted) accommodations is not currently live. We will send a notification when the hotel block is available for booking.
Thank you for your support!
